PSYCHIATRY ASSOCIATES, P.C. is a private practice that provides comprehensive clinical services for minors, adults and families, as well as forensic psychiatric services. 

We treat the whole spectrum of emotional and behavioral disorders, as well as addictive disorders complicated by other psychiatric conditions. We provide psychiatric diagnostic assessments, medication treatment, individual and family therapy, consultation to individuals, schools, agencies, and other health care professionals. After thoroughly evaluating the situation of the patient and family, we will present them with specific recommendations tailored to meet their needs. We are highly skilled and often work with other therapists or psychologists to provide patients with the best care available.  If a patient could benefit from a treatment we cannot provide, we will help him get it. We strive to maintain the integrity of professional judgments and behaviors independent of influence of the source of compensation.

We also provide forensic psychiatric evaluations, consultations and expert witness testimony in civil and criminal cases. Forensic psychiatric services include: Child custody evaluations, competency to stand trial, insanity defense and criminal responsibility, capital sentencing, mitigation; and testamentary capacity (competency to make a will) and various other civil competency evaluations. We can also conduct workplace violence assessments and fitness for duty evaluations. We have specific expertise in conducting independent medical evaluations, including disability evaluations, employment discrimination, workers' compensation, and personal psychiatric injury evaluations. We have experience conducting medical record review in psychiatric standard of care and malpractice litigations.
